- The Board of Trustees are mandated to purchase 13,190 acres of land in the next 30 years on behalf of Fishing Lake First Nation.
- Cultivated Land is leased at Fair Market Value, revenue received for the lease of the land is deposited into the Land Lease account and transferred into the Capital Account after the Land Lease Account is audited and transferred to the Capital Account for reinvestment.
- Land is held in trust with the Fishing Lake Trust Holding Corporation until land is converted to reserve status then transferred to the First Nation.
